equal overloads

Synopses

Declared in <bslalg_rangecompare.h>

Return whether two ranges of equal length compare element‐wise equal.

template<class INPUT_ITER>
static
bool
equal(
    INPUT_ITER start1,
    INPUT_ITER end1,
    INPUT_ITER start2);

Return whether two ranges have the same length and compare equal.

template<class INPUT_ITER>
static
bool
equal(
    INPUT_ITER start1,
    INPUT_ITER end1,
    INPUT_ITER start2,
    INPUT_ITER end2);

Same as the preceding equal overload, taking explicit range lengths.

template<class INPUT_ITER>
static
bool
equal(
    INPUT_ITER start1,
    INPUT_ITER end1,
    size_type length1,
    INPUT_ITER start2,
    INPUT_ITER end2,
    size_type length2);

Return Value

  • true if every corresponding pair of elements compares equal, and false otherwise

  • true if the ranges have the same length and compare equal, and false otherwise
