Return Value

Parsed PKCS7, or NULL on error; free with PKCS7_free.

Optional destination for a memory BIO holding cleartext signed content, or NULL.

p7

Optional pre‐allocated PKCS7 from PKCS7_new_ex(), or NULL to allocate a new one.
