Deprecated. Use of this entity is allowed but discouraged.

Description

Pair with ENGINE_get_next() to iterate; release the returned reference with ENGINE_free() when finished, unless ENGINE_get_next() has already released it.

Return Value

Structural reference to the first ENGINE, or NULL if the list is empty.
