Declared in <bdls_filesystemutil.h>
Return true if there currently exists a file or directory at the specified path, and false otherwise. If path is a symlink, the result of this function is platform dependent. On POSIX/Unix platforms this method dereferences symlinks, while on Windows it does not. The parameterized STRING_TYPE must be one of bsl::string, std::string, std::pmr::string (if supported), bsl::string_view, or bslstl::StringRef.
