Description

This is the exact inverse of point<U>(value) and is provided only for points that use default_point_origin(R) - the same condition under which text output and quantity_from_zero() are available. Points with a custom origin have no unique numerical representation, so their value must be requested from an explicit origin via quantity_from(origin).numerical_value_in(U).
